Super Bowl XLII played on February 3, 2008, at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, to decide the NFL champion following the 2007 season. In one of the most significant upsets in Super Bowl history, the NFC champion New York Giants (14-6) defeated the AFC champion New England Patriots (18-1) by the score of 17-14.
New England opened the bye week as 14-point favorites, but dipped to 12-point favorites by kickoff. In the end, after falling behind late in the fourth quarter, the Giants won 17–14 on a final-minute touchdown pass from Eli Manning to Plaxico Burress. Manning was named the Most Valuable Player[1] and the Giants became the first NFC wild card team to win a Super Bowl, and the first NFC team to win since 2003.
I look here at four main targets when analyzing a game: The trends or statistics, the "spot", the value, and finally, relevant information facts, such as whatever contacts we've got, validating our view of the environment surrounding the event, the mood, etc.
The "trend" is basically a tendency for one team to do some something with another over time. Trends, however, can be very tricky so you have to really watch out for basing your decision solely on this factor. Just because a team has hammered another team, over and over, won't necessarily apply to every situation....

I know a little about money management, as I've been in the investment business for many years. I've been a Principal, a Registered Advisor and a top producer in the financial services field; and there's an element of stocks and bonds that can be related to sports gaming, if you analyze deeply enough. Clearly, one of the most important components to investing, or sports gaming, and wagering, is the issue with money management. Whether it's Black Jack or Poker, picking a football team to win, or mutual funds, it's fairly common sense that a sound, disciplined approach, need be in place if you're going to be successful...

The UEFA Euro Cup has turned into a massive success story as it enjoys the status of one of the world's major sporting events - although the championship's creation five decades ago was more difficult than might be expected..
The UEFA European Football Championship is the main football competition of the men's national football teams governed by the UEFA. Held every four years since 1960, in the even-numbered year between World Cup tournaments, it was originally called the European Nations Cup, changing to the name European Football Championship in 1968.
The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2008, will take place in Austria and Switzerland, from 7 to 29 June 2008. It is the second in a series of three successful joint bids in the competition's history, alongside the UEFA Euro 2000, hosted by Belgium and the Netherlands and the 2012 competition in Poland and Ukraine.
Teaser bets are popular sports bets (particularly in football and basketball) because it allows you to adjust the point spread in your favor. Teasers are used in parlay bets (bets linking together two or more wagers) and whatever teaser amount you choose will apply to all wagers within your bet.
Teasers allow you to have an advantageous point spread while selecting 2 to 8 teams (or more depending on the sportsbook). You may tease a side or a total of a football game and also cross sports by teasing football games with basketball games.Go to Teaser Calculator
A parlay is a single bet that links together two or more individual wagers for a high payout. In order for the parlay bet to win, every one of the wagers must win.
So why make a parlay bet if it's a more difficult bet? Because the payouts are higher. A 2 team parlay might pay 13/5, a three team parlay might pay 6/1, a four team parlay might pay 10/1, and so on with the payouts getting higher with more teams.Go to Parlay Calculator
